Good afternoon!Thank you for your continued prayer and financial support. It means so much!
I pray that God worked in your heart and life over this past weekend and in the heart and life of every person that was at a part of what took place in your church over the weekend! I wanted to get you a quick update to share with you how God blessed here at First Baptist of Strongsville over the weekend. Below is part of the email I sent to people in our church here yesterday:
"We praise the Lord for an incredible Easter Weekend! You can check out our Facebook page to see pictures of the day yesterday. It was great to see so many of you here over the weekend! For all those that couldn’t be here, we missed you! We don’t know exactly what God did in the hearts and lives of people here this past weekend but we do know that yesterday for Easter Sunday Worship we had 81 people here, including kids, with 23 of those being guests! So many of you invited others and it was so encouraging to see them come. Thank you for being concerned about the spiritual condition of others! Ultimately we know that all glory goes to God, eh! Now, I do not focus on numbers much but I believe they have a seat at the table when it comes to helping us understand how things are going here. It truly seems that God is blessing. Again we praise the Lord for an incredible Easter Weekend!”
As mentioned above, you can check out our Facebook page to see all the pictures. Another detail to mention is that for the last several years our church has either not done a Good Friday service or joined another church for their Good Friday Service. With what God is doing here we decided to have our own Good Friday service and we had a great response to that with 39 people being here.
