Then we can talk about when we can meet him on zoom with all of us. How long is the run of the sound of music? What time does the rehearsal start every day? Maybe we can see if we can potentially meet him shortly before 4:00 pm.

In terms of dates: We don’t have yet precise dates and times. What we know so far is:

We will start rehearsing Schicchi starting the 26th of July. We would need him for 4-5 rehearsals of 3 hours length each (we may need to add one more), preferably in the morning and/or afternoon.
We will have a dress rehearsal on the 6th of August, time TBD. One of the rehearsals may be on Saturday the 30th of July.

If you have specific conflicts during the time frame we mentioned, could you tell them what they are, and we can see if it’s possible for us to work around them?

Just a few suggestions for best sound quality on zoom, in case you haven’t been using it a lot for singing.
Make sure you have the latest version of zoom. In audio setting enable original sound, and do not check “adjust microphone volume”, check "high-fidelity music mode"

Then it’s best to play the accompaniment from a device connected to a speaker, and connect to zoom through the computer. That allows for more options in terms of the set up.

Hopefully the recordings will be helpful for Locke to prepare this to sing for us.

We would like to hear him in person next week, he can use the accompaniment track and sing with it (or if it’s too difficult, he can start with the track that plays the pitches with him). We are available every day from Monday to Friday after 4:00 pm. Let us know if any of these days will work, and we can set up a time. We will send a zoom link.
