Prayer Update From The Larsons
Ask and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be open to you.

Heads-Up! Have you moved since August 2023? If so, let me know! We’ll be sending out our year-end thank you letters and magnets soon. |

To our Support Family,
About an hour and a half away from Kent, near the “panhandle” of West Virginia sits Bergholz, Ohio. Aside from being a beautiful area for autumn leaves, it’s also the site of our annual Fall Retreat, in which we offer students a 25 hour break from the busyness of school for the sake of spending time with the Lord and others. Throughout the weekend, we’ll have three main sessions for studying Scripture, praying, and singing together. We’ll practice spiritual disciplines and celebrate baptisms. We’ll have some free time, and we’ll have something for the sporty types, which we call the H2Olympics! |
|
I adore Fall Retreat, because it is equally an opportunity for attendees who are following Jesus to grow in their faiths, as well as a chance for those who aren’t yet Christians to commit to following Jesus with their whole lives. Even small moments offer potential for deeper conversation, both at the retreat and as the semester carries along.

As we await Fall Retreat in two days, would you join us in praying for these requests?
- Pray for Luca, Sam, Kyla, Evan, and Brendan, who are getting baptized this weekend. Pray that God would affirm them in their decision to proclaim their faith! Also, pray that more students might decide to do the same throughout the weekend!
- Pray for Noah, Zach, Justin, Danny, Marcus, Jacob, and Aaron. These are the men in the Life Group that I help coach, and I would love for them to share their hearts and difficulties with each other! As is usually the case, an ounce of encouragement from a peer is worth a pound from a staff member, and I’m praying that the friendships among these guys would deepen in a way that leads to spiritual growth.
- Often, students give their lives to Jesus for the first time at Fall Retreat! Pray for the Father to be at work in the lives of those there that don’t yet know Him.

We are excited to send another letter next month with stories of answered prayer, both at Fall Retreat and beyond. Your prayer, friendship, and support go a long way in allowing events like Fall Retreat to happen! Thanks so much for being alongside us in this work. God Bless You! |

Support Raising Update:
Recently, we’ve been sharing about our need to raise an additional $1,000 in monthly support, to reach full funding and prepare for the needs of our daughter! Thus far, the Lord has brought in $200 of that need! Thank you so much to those who have helped us with that goal! If you’re reading this and would like to help us continue in this effort, you can do so at any time at www.reliant.org/nick.larson, or you can reach out to me personally.
