Prayer Update From The Larsons
"Why are you looking for the living among the dead? He is not here, but he has risen!"

To our Support Family,
Hi there! We hope that you are doing well. Happy early Mother's Day to all the amazing moms reading this letter! We normally reach out earlier each month, but I've learned that April is often the second busiest month of the year, outside of August. Finals Week is next week, and seniors will graduate on the 10th! Therefore, the April showers bring with them a full calendar of being with students. To that end, we wanted to share a brief summary of some highlights from the early spring of ministry: |
|
Spring Break Trips
As mentioned in our last letter, we sent out two trips this year! I was a part of the trip centered around pursuing spiritual disciplines, and we also had a service-focused trip to Puerto Rico. Of the many highlights, one that I'm thinking of comes from Chloe. She is a faithful follower of Jesus, but amidst the busyness of being an Interior Design student, her world is often full of stress. Through stepping away from campus for a week and tuning her heart to listen to the Lord, she shared that she experienced peace for the first time in a long time! Many students shared similar stories, that simply going to be with Him in solitude led to lasting heart change. |
|
Senior Banquet and Interviews
A big priority during the spring semester is preparing our seniors for what comes next! Pictured below is a group of graduates at our yearly banquet, in which we share our gratitude for them, and encourage them to keep depending on the Lord each day as they go through change. We also meet with each graduating student one-on-one, to help them reflect on their time in college, and to ask if there's any way we can support them as they prepare for the next phase of life. Thus far, I've been blessed to meet with Emily, Tanner, and Nathan, and I'll get to meet with Riley and Lauren next! |

Last Life Group Study
Our weekly groups had their last study in the book of Luke on Thursday! The wise thoughts and honest questions shared by students each and every week in these groups brings me so much joy! It's also a great joy to work alongside student leaders as they care for other students. Pictured below is the leadership team that myself and my coworker Brady worked alongside this year! |
 |
|
All-Campus Night of Worship
Students from several campus ministries worked together to organize a worship night in the Student Center last Friday! I cannot emphasize enough how cool it is that this was almost entirely student led. |

|
Baptisms
We baptized 12 students on Sunday! Each story served as a powerful example of God at work in the hearts of college students! Below is a video made by one of our students: |

There's more to share, but those are some of the main highlights! Overall, late spring is a season of seeing community deepened, disciplines practiced, and graduates prepared. These vital moments of personal spiritual growth are made possible because of your prayer and generosity! Thank you for being alongside us as we wrap up another school year in Kent. We are grateful for you! |

Family Update!
Bea is three months old! She's starting to smile and coo regularly, which is the best feeling in the world. We're so grateful that so many of you have asked how we're doing, and how you can be praying for us!
|
|
|
Prayer Requests:
- Pray for students who might be headed home to spiritually, emotionally, or financially difficult circumstances this summer.
- Pray that the baptisms of those twelve students would be a starting point for more spiritual growth!
- As Bea keeps growing, we're recognizing that our housing situation will need to change soon! Pray that the Lord would grant us wisdom as we think about what's next.
