Your weekly cup of encouragement, mindful productivity, and intentional shifts to ease into your week.

Hi Isabelle,
Jaz from our team came across this quote the other day & it sparked some thought-starters in us:
βWhat if your markers of success were how well you slept at night? How many books you read? How easily you laughed? How much time you spent storytelling, feeling warm in the arms and homes of people you adore?"
More often than not, society measures success in terms of wealth, job promotions, and our social media popularity. But imagine if we could change our perspective? While these traditional markers do offer some freedom and recognition, it's often the personal, nuanced accomplishments that truly bring us happiness and fulfillment.
To me, success isn't about metrics. It's about feelings. Yes, metrics offer insights, but they aren't what truly motivate me or give me the warm n' fuzzies.
I find a sense of accomplishment when I invest in my future self, cook a meal at home instead of eating out, enjoy a good night's sleep, or when I'm amidst loved ones who fill the room with laughter and smiles. It's in those moments - like watching my dogs joyfully roll around in the grass, or enjoying a weekday lunch with a friend - where I truly feel successful. And most notably, being able to fund my mom's trip to Korea this fall was an incredibly rewarding experience - giving back to the woman I love most in the world fills me with immense joy and fulfillment.
These moments are the milestones that truly matter, highlighting that I've built a life younger me would be so amazed by -- one filled with love, full-belly laughs, disco magic sunshine, freedom, and flexibility.
As we begin a new week, I invite you to reflect on what success means to you. Maybe it's as simple as a restful night, a new juicy book (currently reading: Fourth Wing!), or finding a hobby that we don't monetize (*gasp!*)
Remember, success is not one-size-fits-all - it's unique to each of us. Let it evolve, let it simmer, but most of all, enjoy the journey.
Here's to a week filled with joy and purpose,
Jules

the challenge
βFind a quiet space and try to find some stillness. Then, really reflect on what matters to you. What makes you genuinely happy? What makes you feel good?
Think of the ways you can make teeeny, tiny shifts in your daily life to sprinkle in these joyful shifts more often -- and simplify what it means to be "successful".
